while giving the car added space. thats a major complaint about the civic hybrid. its actually smaller than a standard civic due to the placement of their batteries

(dont know where this hatchback discussion started from but okay) It was noted by Jessica. I was just stating why they used a hatchback design on the hybrid and why its ugly. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

no i never said that. but for a smaller car its got a lot of cargo space. and dumb people driving huge SUVs are definitely mostly regretting it now. AEB the shear number of them approaching Priuses and asking for trades lol
how much money did you lose buying one of the biggest trucks on the market when you sold it or traded it in. in some states dealerships are putting large SUVs straight to auction and owners are getting shitted on. though i bet Texas is a little better -------------------- Little monkeys making money

Your fashion sense sucks, but neither is mine. Granted. I do think the Echo is a tad goofy looking, but not "ugly" so much. It wasn't what I went looking to buy (I was looking for a Civic Hybid, actually...) and I should have done a lot more research, but I think I made out rather well considering. It gets good gas mileage (30+ typically, though I averaged nearly 40 on a few tanks last summer), drives great, and hasn't needed any work besides standard maintenance. Plus it's got some dimensional warping or some shit going on, what with an interior that feels about twice as big as it looks from the outside. I don't think I've yet had someone sit in the back seat without commenting on how surprisingly spacious it is. -------------------- |

I know you're not even going to try to say that a large truck doesn't hold good resale value typically they dont. certainly not now. SUVs are losing value so much people are taking BIG hits trying to hand them off to get more FE vehicles. getting thousands of dollars less than bluebook in comparison to foreign smallers cars like honda, toyota - not even close i know a few people that sold their 2007 Priuses for MORE than they paid for them new last year went around and then bought a new 2008 with a profit! and if you research it camrys etc hold their values the most not everyone knows this? -------------------- Little monkeys making money

you look up resale value of civics and camrys and compare them to your trucks and SVUs. hell dont even consider the current market that is KILLING SUVs value
1 article of about a billion about the SUV problem http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/wayoflife/05/23/dumping.suvs/ 1 sec search: http://www.kbb.com/kbb/Advice/GenericConte...bWebContent-914 ok impala what is your complaint now. KBB now not reliable? -------------------- Little monkeys making money

typically they dont. certainly not now. SUVs are losing value so much people are taking BIG hits trying to hand them off to get more FE vehicles. getting thousands of dollars less than bluebook I've read the same, but I think that foreign trucks (Nissan Titan, Toyota Tacoma and Tundra) are holding their value because of the suprisingly good gas mileage, sleek look, and reliability. To be honest with you, it's mostly SUVs that are taking the hit right now. Small trucks too. Full size trucks, though, not so much because people still have a necessity for them (businesses, etc).
in comparison to foreign smallers cars like honda, toyota - not even close i know a few people that sold their 2007 Priuses for MORE than they paid for them new last year went around and then bought a new 2008 with a profit! and if you research it camrys etc hold their values the most not everyone knows this? |
