So how long would you say its good in there for....if its in its original grocery store packaging....the chicken just looks a little off-colored....but its only been in there for like 7 months

Try defrosting it and seeing what you get. Sometimes ice forms inside and freezer burn discolors the chicken.

it should be good as long as there isnt freezer burn on the meat. then again, i dont eat meat so who am i to say
