can i get a domain like www.iliketomatos.com and put it on the tech server? probably a stupid question to you computer people, but im a people person, so if you want to ask me a question about people that is fine too.

Uhhhh... no? If you get a domain name, you gotta find your own host. You can get a personal webpage hosted at Tech, but that's it. See http://webpages.acs.ttu.edu/

Most domain hosts will let you redirect the domain to your student website though.

you do that and your limited to like...5MB and bogged on what you can/can't do on the page since it's the TTU host.
