Why the hell do people like Little Panda so much!? Do you like being poisoned by run-of-the-mill "Chinese" food?

Honestly, I have not had any real good chinese food in Lubbock. I mean Great Wall is ok but not great.

Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Too bad they closed down. ='( I also miss Stein's. Pretty sure they've shutdown too. 'Twas an amazing little sandwich/soup/coffee shop downtown right next door to Inkfluence. -------------------- |

my favorite ethnic food in lubbock is Thai Pepper. They are so good but it is also so busy and hard to get a table especially at Lunch.

i know they're chain restaurants, but moving since moving to Colorado where the mexican food SUCKS, i really miss Rosas, Taco Bueno, Taco Villa, and any other mexican restaurant that includes spice in their food. That place at 82nd and University was pretty good. Don't know the name.

Was Rosa's a chain (other than Lubbock)? Yes. It started in San Angelo and LBK got them in the early 90s -- right when it sort of took off. They are scattered all across Texas (excluding the South) and I think there are a couple in Oklahoma now. Taco Villa is also a local chain starting in Midland/Odessa. -------------------- ![]() |

Also Stein's closed down, rennovated, re-opened, and is now closed down again (at least, last I checked). -------------------- ![]() |

Taco Bueno... best mexican fast food hands down. Started in Abilene and now it's a pretty nice chain in the south.
