http://www.engadget.com/2009/05/12/microso...or-zune-lovers/
QUOTE Microsoft has a new twitter account in support of its Office 2010 product launch. What's strange though, is that the people behind the account seem to care more about the future of the Zune than Office. Two tweets (of five) from this account have caught our attention. The first says, June 2009 will be an important month for Zune lovers. Then as a followup to the barrage of questions received, @officethemovie adds, New product launch, that's all I'm allowed to say. Hold off from buying an iPhone/Pre.Naturally, we're expecting the launch of the Zune HD and/or the unveiling of project Pink. Whatever happens, the month of June is going to be historic with Apple's WWDC scheduled to kick off on June 8th and the Palm Pre rumored for release on June 5th or June 7th. Update: It's worth mentioning that the big E3 gaming expo kicks off on June 2nd (press events on the 1st) -- could be important if there's any truth to the new Zune HD supporting some form of Xbox game integration. Sounds like June should see some interesting stuff from all the big companies... |

I'm not a Microsoft fanboy jackass. It only seems that way because I respond to the Microsoft hate that runs rampant. Not hating != fanboy. I don't even own a Zune. I read engadget today and saw something I thought was interesting because there might be a new pda/phone on the market soon. If it was a samsung pda/phone you would't have responded with your faggotry.
Do yourself a favor and just leave this thread alone. If you want to start your Apple elitist bullshit go somewhere else or start your own thread. I'll tell you how stupid and overpriced Apple's junk is there instead. And a 15 second search shows 3 million+ sales. Take from that what you will on its success. |

a+p+p+l+e nope, not seeing any mentions of "apple" in my post. nor "mac" nothing prefixed with "i" i wouldn't have mentioned a samsung phone because they've been making phones for years. microsoft, not so much. was only interested in hearing the success of the zune. i haven't heard much since people freaked out about the shit brown color a while back. relax. you need a beer. or something. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

Wow, the Zune is still around? I know two people that own Zunes. One of them, my father, works for Microsoft. The other, my brother, got it as a gift.

I do need a beer. But don't call me a fanboy when I'm not and expect me to not respond to it.
I haven't gotten a Zune or any PMP really just because I see no need to carry more than one device around. That's why I waited and got the HTC Touch Pro phone, can do all the stuff that those zunes & ipods can do and is still a phone and one device to carry. If the Zune HD is also a phone it could be a solid competitor in the PDA phone market. |

I've had a zune, ipod, sony walking thing and the Dell DJ.
Dell DJ - Best interface, worst cpu interface. Ipod - Popular, wish their search and playlist functions emulated the dell dj Zune - Largest screen, best movie playback. Sliggish on changing tracks though. Sony - Best Audio Quality and battery life. Propriatary stuff killed it. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

i've had 3 zunes (all upgrades, with the old one given to a friend - all of them are still in use) and I absolutely love them. I plan on getting the HD (or phone, whatever) as well, as do many of my friends that are still stuck with their ipod. i've converted somewhere between 10-15 people to the zune platform over the last 2 or 3 years. It's great, and the pc software side has finally caught up to the hardware.
<3 my zune. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.
