I just noticed a really loud scratching sound coming from inside the walls of the house. At first I thought it was my dog scratching up the carpet upstairs, but it wasn't. And it's way too loud to be a mouse.

There's this cat that kinda lives here. At least she comes by every night and begs real loudly for food. I think the guy who owns the house had her as an outdoor cat or something. Whatever, I give her food cause I don't want it to die. Last night was real cold, like 20's. Too cold for the cat to sleep in the Scout. Who knows where it slept, but it's missing. I got a feeling it somehow got in the attic through a vent or something and managed to get stuck in somewhere in the fucking walls of the house. The scratching was loud enough to be a cat, racoon, or opossum or something.

What the hell do I do? I don't know the landlord's number so I can't call him. I ain't paying for someone to come out. And if whatever it is dies, it's gonna make the house smell RANCID
