I got stuck with rasty for failure analysis because I can't move heat transfer which conflicts with all the good ME electives. =(

I figured you had two... hence "electives", not "elective".  Advanced Thermo with Dr. James is pretty fuckin' awesome, and I don't generally like thermo/fluids stuff. If you need help with anything, let me know -- it looks like I'm missing part of HW 6, but otherwise have all of my homeworks and exams. No problemo! My favorite part of the course was probably derivative reductions... just math, so purely easy. I dunno why, but I "got" things in that class a lot more easily than my three classmates...
I think it was all open notes/open book (it was AT LEAST open notes), so doing the tests isn't very stressful.

I'm hoping to finally learn how to derive values for enthalpy/entropy/etc from the hemholtz or maxwell equations or whatever they are ... Could have saved myself a lotta money if I'd had known how to do that in Thermo II/Heat Transfer/Thermal Fluids lab .... heh ... -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!
