I am looking to link up with fellow December 2008 graduates who are pissed about not being able to get their official transcripts due to Texas Tech not caring about us and deciding to change computer systems right at graduation. I have been told that I should expect it around the 22nd of January...that is unacceptable. I am unable to recieve my teaching certification because of this. I am unable to get a full tim eteaching job because of this. Their decision is costing me 1000s of dollars.
We, the student - the customer need to demand better service. We cannot remain powerless. They provide a service and need to be reminded of this. Let them you are fed up with the lack of caring and service at Texas Tech. Let them know that you are tired of just being tuition payments. |

That sucks, but what grounds can you do that lawsuit on?

So basically you can't start as a teacher in the fall. That sucks. Is this Brad Moon ?

no, he can't start as a teacher right now.
So are the districts not willing to review your unofficial transcript? Are they willing to listen to the circumstances? |

Important Information Regarding Transcript Requests
Transcript requests received by Noon Tuesday, December 16th will be processed and mailed by December 22. Requests received after Tueesday will be processed and printed from the new student system, and delays in processing are expected as we transition to the new system. Transcript requests submitted and held for Fall grades or December degree posting will be processed from the new student system in January and delays are expected for these requests as well. While every effort will be made to process transcripts as quickly as possible, delays of up to several weeks are anticipated during the month of January. |
