Because you're just handing it over to more worthless union workers who think it's their god given right to make $150,000 a year just by showing up to work to collect the paycheck.

I still say that the plight of the US automakers is much more directly related to having to deal with the labor unions than it is inferior products or "the wrong" products or whatever.

I basically see Washington using them as a scapegoat, and the unions hiding behind washington ....

I don't know about the auto industry, but workers in the machinist and welding unions typically do much better work than workers that aren't in it. You can expect very high quality from those union workers. So I hope blaming the unions for the fall of the american auto industry isn't more typical Dogmeat scapegoat bullshit.

I have yet to meet a union worker that wasn't a drunk or high on something.
