Honestly, I'd be all for it being a forbidden word in my classroom, too. Too much of my class time is wasted when students try to talk politics. I wouldn't mind if I were teaching a content that was effected by politics, but math is the universal truth and is not concerned with who's running what countries.

But, on a different note ... how many times do you think the race card is going to be pulled any time this asshole gets some uber-Communist idea and gets it shot down?
