On Sunday I decided that a shower sounded good. I begin to generously lather my body with soap when I notice the water has a lukewarm consistency which slowly turns to icy cold. Called my land lord on Sunday via his business cell... I get a call back Monday morning and he informs me he will be sending his repairman who will henceforth be referred to as bill, to protect the innocent, because he is too cheap to call a plumber. Well, bill comes by around 5 pm monday after i get off work and determines that there is some piece that is kaput on the water heater ( I can't remember what it's called but I think it was the cut off valve or something, basically regulates the flow of gas in the water heater). Bill told me that if he could find the piece he could fix it but he doubted his ability to locate the specific piece and that I would need a new water heater. He told me that my landlord would call me sometime today with the details on either replacing the part or water heater.
Today, I got not call from my landlord. I called him at around 2:30 pm and got his voicemail. Left him a msg basically saying what's up with my hot water. Fast forward to 5 o clock STILL NO CALL BACK. Called bill and he said he had not heard from the land douche all day but he would try and call him to see what was going on. I get a call back from bill and he tells me that land lard does not want to get a new water heater and insists on looking for the part even though he doubts there is one for this brand of water heater. I don't care what he does but I want hot water NOW. So... one week the fridge breaks and now the hot water heater breaks Life sucks /rant -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

You know, you have rights as a renter. It doesn't matter who the landlord is. I don't know what agency handles it, but a little bit of google research could go a long way for you. If it doesn't get fixed or replaced today, I would start looking into alternate means of getting it done. It's not right to be without hot water, and I believe that technically makes the places unlivable under the law. Look into it.

Landlord was too cheap to replace the water heater but the repair dude replaced the control valve and another piece and it works for now, but the repairman told me that this is honestly only a temporary fix. Going to save up money for a deposit and first month rent and move out!
