Never, under ANY circumstances, rent or buy a "movie" directed by Ulli Lommel. I made the mistake of picking up Lommel's version of the Black Dahlia when I was trying to rent De Palma's version (the one that was in theatres). It was easy to get fooled because the DVD's were released the same time and they have near identical covers.

It took me over 3 hours to watch it, even though it's 88 minutes long. It sucked so royally that I couldn't keep it on for more than five minutes at a time. It was THAT bad. I had no idea who Lommel was or why this piece of cinematic dogshit would even be sitting on a Blockbuster aisle. I looked him up on imdb and found some hilarious reviews

This movie is bad. I don't just mean 'bad' as in; "Oh the script was bad", or; "The acting in that scene was bad".....I mean bad as in someone should be held criminally accountable for foisting this unmitigated pile of steaming crud onto an unsuspecting public. I won't even dignify it with an explanation of the (Plot??) if I can refer to it as that.I can think of only one other occasion in some 40-odd years of movie watching that I have found need to vent my spleen on a movie. I mean, after all, no one goes out to intentionally make a bad movie, do they? Well, yes. Apparently they do...and the guilty man is writer/director Ulli Lommel. But the worst of it is that Blockbusters is actually renting this to theircustomers! Be advised. Leave this crap where it belongs. Stuck on the shelf, gathering dust.

I could not finish it. I watched it for 44 minutes, but could not endure anymore of it. Stupid, poor acting, bad filming (was the cameraman drunk?)As I think of it, that 44 minutes was a waste of 44 minutes of my life.

I watched the whole thing over a period of three days. I was fooled also by the movie. There should be a disclamer on these type of movies. Like a Mr. Yuk sticker that says "WARNING SUCK RIPOFF DVD SANITY MAY BE COMPROMISED" around it. It would save a lot of us a lot of suffering.

i should have gone to bed about two hours ago but noooooooooooooo, i chose to watch this awful, egregious piece of mastadon dung. and now i am only going to get three hours of sleep because of this *beep*

An insider friend of mine told me this movie almost didn't make it to completion. The rigorous 5 days of shooting was stretched to 6 days and it put the movie over-budget by almost $450.00! Most movies shoot for 3 weeks to over a month or two, not an Ulli movie though

This retarded pile of vomit was made solely for the purpose of trying to cash in on the major studio release of Brian De Palma's "Black Dahlia", but the talent and production level in this load of crap is in the sewer. Take a look at the actors and crew involved in this movie (you should write them down and avoid anything with their names on it), these people are all talent less wastes of skin who have no place in the movie business at all, they should be forbidden to even watch films. In fact I implore all of Hollywood to blacklist anyone whose name is in anyway associated with this worthless piece of hot trash.

Don't forget trolls!

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?
