My sister is getting an unfurnished apartment for her third year at UT. Does anyone have a couch in Austin that she could buy/have? We have one here for her but would have to haul it down - if someone has one they don't need, that would be better.

If all else fails, instead of spending the money and effort to haul one to her, she could check out Good Will. I know where two of them in Austin are so I'm sure there is one close to where she lives. Also, check out the free section on Craigslist. Austin is huge on that site and people put couches on there all the time for free to whoever will haul it away. Good Will charges, but you may find nicer and it should only cost $60 or so
