Bottled water.
I just got the electric bill and I guess I never really paid attention to it before now. In our house last month we consumed 8,800 gallons of water and the bill was $23.73. Converting gallons to liters makes it 33299.2 liters. So tap water costs 0.00071264 cents a liter Bottled water costs $1.59 a liter What a markup -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

Uh... you're just now realizing this? It's no secret that tap water is dirt cheap.

I knew it was cheaper but I didn't know it was several thousand times cheaper.

haha and if your house was run on 1.59 bottled water, your monthly will would've been around $53,000.

thank god i can drink tap water, bottled water can be good but usually just angers me that they've turned a resource into such a commodity like that. but then again its easier to ship bottled/canned water than 80,000 nalgenes or whatever.
I loved getting gas last week and seeing some toity bitch in a H2 bitching on her iPhone about how expensive gas was as she chugged a huge bottle of Fiji water. Where are our priorities ya know? |
