 Supposedly the F-16 pilot mis-identified his "target" during a training run ... Supposedly he fired a very short burst from his 20mm cannon. The F-16 was not equipped with the standard HEI (heavy explosive-incendinary) rounds that are standard for combat, but 20mm ball ammo training rounds. Supposedly the two passengers lived with only minor injuries. Talk about a fucking wake-up call
