I almost invested in a gun, but then I got pregnant. I don't ever want a gun in my home with a child there.

so it would have to be aborted within the womb, dead, and then removed for it to be ok? or would you say that taking the baby out and then killing it is ok? semantics.... i believe that an abortion, up until the latest stages possible to legally perform, and performed correctly, is not considered taking a life. if i agreed earlier that killing a child (stabbing it after it's removed or whatever sarcasm impala tossed around earlier) outside of a legal abortion is fine, i was simply being sarcastic in return. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

yes i have been to england. i did not get beaten up by a gang of wayward teens nor do i know anyone who had. their homicide rate is waaaaaay lower than the US even after taking into consideration population differences. guess those beating to death cases arent all that prevalent. but my beliefs in stricter gun laws and taking away citizens guns all together arent just about murder rates. probably the smallest reason for my beliefs as people can interpret the statistics differently the health system is great in europe as i have a significant number of family members who live there full time who have experiences with it as well as my parents visiting the Uk and europe for a month or two and all the sudden youre an expert?! hope to god you didnt pick up a fake accent as well In Canada, one of my relatives got passed up for a transplant for a government official. In Canada there are two systems, the private and public. Can't say I remember much about Europe. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

exactly not everyone knows how they will react in that situation so you cant say all would shoot someone to death. im willing to bet, as ive heard of it before, that people/cops freeze up when they have to shoot. i know i would have an incredibly hard time shooting a gun, killing a person and i do not know how id face myself after taking someones life believe it or not, i have this viewpoint. i don't want to shoot anybody. i never have. i've been given legal opportunities in the past while at the clubs, but i haven't taken them. it wasn't a matter of freezing up, but i don't want to keep thinking in my mind there might have been another way if i did kill someone. but i want that gun with me. if there IS NO OPTION LEFT. i would take the gun and end someone, rather than let them end me. and then i would live with a clear mind. i do not believe that anyone who truelly wants to kill someone should ever be allowed to own a gun. but you can't legistate that effectively. -------------------- |

i wouldn't have a gun. period. if by some reason one was within my reach, i can throw things pretty hard. otherwise, fight to survive by other means. if i die, which would probably happen, then i die. i'm cool with that. i'm not afraid of death. that's no way to live. not sure how i would handle the afterthought of knowing i took another human's life though. like i said in the other thread, you guys act like your life takes place in a Steven Seagal movie or something. need to be armed and ready for chaos at all times. alpha male. git r dun. ha, why do conservatives always try to relate abortion with gun control? i'm pro-choice. life isn't life until it's out of the womb. imo. an abortion at 8 months, to me, is like removing a kidney. I would say you are an idiot. I value my life and those I love over a stranger that was trying to kill me. At 8 months the baby could live outside the womb, so that isn't comparable to a kidney. I can easily justify killing someone who's intent is it to kill me, at 8 months the baby has no evil intent. People will justify their position to themselves always, even if its asinine. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

like poverty there will always be criminals. shooting them all is not a solution. but yes i do focus on the social issues that decrease crime and criminal behavior i thought you guys were the ones that didnt believe in that and there will always be weapons. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

More info on this guy comes out. Why would a CIA agent need a carry/conceal license? -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

weird. why would you impersonate a cia officer just to seemingly "fit in."

They talked about it on the news last night with a real former CIA agent. He pretty much told them there's not a chance in hell you'll ever find out if someone was really in the CIA in a case like this.

I'm saying (just as you helped me point out) that people are violent whether they have guns or not. yeah im not arguing against that. whats your point. that doesnt make my belief in anti-guns any more silly chook you are a catholic that said before you wouldnt date a girl if she wasnt pro-life. i dont think you are unbiased on this abortion issue. an opinion about being pro-choice isnt wrong -------------------- Little monkeys making money
