Anyone who pays this much for a cell phone is a fuckin moron. I just got a brand new Sanyo phone for 42 dollars and change.

and you are a fucking moron for signing a contract with sprint. I get 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited night and weekends + free sprint to sprint + phone insurance for $50.77 a month including taxes....and thats with me NOT being in a contract. I bought my phone based on user reviews for durability...not because I wanted something expensive. Just so happens that the phone has a problem where the charging device goes out eventually, but thats what insurance is for.

I'm pretty sure incoming texts count against your total. It is also likely that your method of keeping track of your sent texts is extremely flawed.

If incoming texts counted, I would be over 300.


And no. its not flawed. I know why its saying I have more. Sometimes, I will send a text and it will say "message failed" and its because someone is trying to call me while im sending it. I told the lady that on the phone yesterday and she said that there is no way that their perfect system would charge me for failed messages.

I dont see how my method could be flawed if I dont delete any sent texts during the month. My phone holds up to 200 sent messages. My phone has a log of sent messages beginning the 9th of March which is the first day of my new billing cycle which I also made sure of by looking at Sprint's site. Im not stupid. I know what Im doing.

yeah, its like $4 a month, but with sprint its worth it because even if you are in a contract and your phone breaks, you will have to pay out of pocket full price for a new phone. They wont work with you at all unless you have had your phone and contract for a year in which you get a $75 rebate or at 18 months you get a $150 rebate. With the experiences I have had with Sprint, most of their new phones break between 6 and 8 months.

even if it gets stolen, its covered. I havent had to use the insurance though because I cradle my $500 investment as if it was my first born.

at the time, it had the best user reviews for durability. I had the phone you have before and I always had problems with it. I figured I would read up on cell phones and get the one that said it was most durable. I can throw this thing on the ground and it wont break. It has rubber sides and shit. However, the problem that all Sanyo cell phones seem to have is with the charging thing. It stops charging eventually.

It was either this phone or the LG slider phone which was only $250; however a lot of people were saying that the slider started to stick and would eventually cause the phone to break.

I honestly couldnt give two fucks that my phone has a camcorder, camera, and that I can watch tv on it. I never use those things. I just was hoping that because I spent that much money and because the user reviews were really high that I would get a phone that would last me 4 years. Apparently, I was wrong.

the lifespan of a phone kept in excellent condition is about a year and a half tops. Insuarance makes it easy to replace. pay an extra 4 bucks a month, and a $30 charge and you either get a brand new version of the phone whenever you want, not to mention, if you manage to keep it together long enough, and they stop selling the phone, then you can get essentially a free upgrade to a newer, better phone.

Also makes buying used broken phones good. I recently gave my cousin a phone that had the screen ripped off, he put it on his plan, and took it to sprint the next day and was all "MY PHONE BROKE FIX PLZKTHX" and got it replaced with a spiffy new one. He got a $200 phone for the $30 replacement fee.
