Ok, so now that you've convinced Americans to live more efficiently, reducing demand, and reducing prices, congratulations! Now all you have to do is convince China, who is at the peak of their industrial revolution, and India, who just developed a $3000 fuel inefficient car and selling them at record levels throughout their country, to do the same.

america has a huge pollution problem. if america changed that would drastically improve the global climate as well as set precedent for other countries to be able to do the same

I never said that we aren't being polluters. I am just saying that it is going to take a lot to move us to a new energy source. It's not going to be done in a matter of days or months, but rather years. That's all I am saying. Yes, I do think we can drill in Alaska and still be environmentally friendly. That's just my take.
