Does anyone remember the thread I started a while back about sharing notes and whether or not people would be willing to?

Today I found this: http://www.coursehero.com/

sad.gif I should just act on my instinct.... Granted, that site layout sucks.

I believe my post was a few database crashes ago, so I'm thinking 2005 but I may be wrong. I know it was right before I graduated.

I guess I could still do it better.

the problem isn't skill, it's time & support. it's the main reason I haven't started my own web, software, home pc, home theater, etc consulting/building business. 1. don't have the time, 2. don't want to have to support it. support f'n sucks.

But I think support is easy and being a business owner you get to choose your clients. I've started doing my own software stuff and have dumped a couple of clients in favor of new clients who are easy to work with, pay me on time, and don't require a lot of hand holding.

There's a good amount of money in the consulting business, you may want to consider getting into it.

Well right, support is easy. It's just not my bag. I hate support. And since that's a large part of that type of work, it keeps me out of it. I.e. I don't want to install some awesome home theater in someone's house, and then have the jackasses calling me every other day because they pressed the wrong button and got the system out of state.
