While I blame girls for generally being weak minded nitwits, they aren't entirely to blame. Guys nowadays are dicks. I've gotten in several fights at the bar I go to. Every one of them was in response to some drunk cocksucker being completely inappropriate to a female and me pounding his head in to teach him a lesson. Sorry, under no circumstance is it acceptable to grab a girls ass, to call her a bitch, to tell her to show her tits, to say "you'd look a lot cuter with your mouth around my cock.....these are all things I've seen/heard. And this isn't at a tittie bar, this is at a restaurant where the girls work in front of tons of other people.

Sorry. If someone did that at a bar 6-7 years ago one of two things would have happened: the guy would have gotten his balls relocated to his stomach by the girl he said it to, or all of the guys who overheard it would have jumped him and beat his ass. Now everyone laughs it off like it's a joke. It isn't a fucking joke, it's sexual harassment. And the girls just sit there and take it, and cry about it later (as several have to me). There's a reason most of the girls at Fowler's like me and think I'm a great guy. I stand up for people who are either too weak or too scared to stand up for themselves. I've told all the girls who work there if some guy says something inappropriate, come tell me or one of my friends, or if we aren't there tell the owners. If they stopped tolerating that bullshit and everyone else stopped tolerating it, it'd eventually stop happening. If you aren't part of the solution, you're part of the problem

When I started going to Fowler's a lot after me and Jessica broke up, it boggled my mind how many beautiful 18 year old girls fresh out of high school were so fucked up. Drugs, sleeping around, poor self esteem, psychological problems. I thought to myself, is this just an isolated situation or a microcosm of how fucked up the world has become?

It isn't just the 18 year olds who work at Fowler's. I started going to a lot of other places around Austin (not only bars), and it's the same shit everywhere, every time. Doesn't matter where you work, where you go, or how old you are. I've met a lot of 24-26 year olds with the same problems.

A lot of you people probably think I'm best friends with everyone who works there and hangs out there. I'm not. I hang out with about 5 of the waitresses and out of the hundreds of people I've met up there, I hang out with less than ten of them outside of the bar. Everyone else is just an acquantance that I refuse to associate with outside of Fowler's. The people I consider true friends are good people who genuinely look out for and help others. We're arguably the most popular people up there because we're the good guys. I don't hang out with fucking scumbags. And trust me, that bar has a lot of them. The only reason I keep going there is because everywhere else I go, it's the same shit. New faces, same bullshit. It's disheartening

All of the examples I used were real events. The girls ranged from 18-35 or so. Some were met at various bars, parties, through friends, etc. It's a decent cross section of NW Austin and downtown. It's the same shit everywhere you go. Even at a coffeehouse I go to sometimes, it's the same guys acting like arrogant assholes, talking the same shit, being inconsiderate to the same girls who have the same self esteem issues as people in bars. Granted, they're all a few levels higher on the emodouche scale, but it's the same principle

I don't know, there's a lot going on in this world. People are confused, give them time, and eventually these people will "grow up". Sex is glorified by television and the likes as something exciting, something the pretty, popular people are doing. Much like people dress and talk like the rich, popular kids, this is just another form of it. Perhaps sex is a bit more dangerous than dressing like the most popular kid, but the mentality behind it is not very different. And the younger you are, the more likely you are to fall into this herd mentality. Usually people grow out of it, but really it just depends. I don't know if I would judge them so harshly.

I'm not sure why people do porn, I guess just like any commodity out there, as long as there is a market out there for it, someone will do it. Perhaps the bigger question that begs to be answered is why is there a big (dare I say bigger?) market for porn? Are there just more horny men than before? On that note, if women are weak, stupid, easy to manipulate, etc, that suggests then men are strong, smart, and manipulative in comparison, which I can hardly say is true. Secondly, for people to have sex, I'm pretty sure it requires at least 2 people (and here I'll just assume of the opposite sex). If people are "easier" nowadays, then that means both men and women are weaker, more stupid, and easy to manipulate nowadays, not just women.
