There is a difference between eating a cow, and treating it as if it were trash we can just destroy and torture because it entertains us.

We don't have to eat cows, and yet we do. I fail to see the difference.

As far as flies or spiders go, I typically try to get them outside without killing them. Doesn't always work out, especially with insects that can cause harm (like black widows).

But you do kill them sometimes. You "primitive minded person who believes animals are somehow meaningless, feelingless creatures!"

Obviously, I'm the one thinking "differently" now, so why wouldn't I be the one that would think "differently" then? I see an injustice, and I voice my opinion.

that is fucked up but only in that the domestic assault bond is so low. they should BOTH be high. i think people also have to consider that the woman technically has the ability to fight back/escape the situation. you gotta be fucked up to do both but reaaally fucked up to beat on an animal.

but im willing to bet and from what i hear, more domestic assault cases are actually charged and punished than animal assault ones.

You are driving down the road, there's a dog that you can avoid only by swerving into oncoming traffic and killing/severely injuring the driving in an oncoming car. If you don't swerve, you kill the dog.

What do you do?

Paradox indeed, however, I would hit the dog for the sole reason that I would know by hitting the dog I would save myself. Were I to swerve to try to avoid the dog, the potential would arise for me to kill myself as well as the other driver.

I think what is bad, is getting off on causing cruelty to animals. I think someone abusing a human is much worse, but they are both bad.

I don't understand why every report out there says he threw the puppy off a cliff. He just threw it about 50 ft straight away and maybe 10-15 ft down. I wouldn't exactly call that a cliff. I guess next time I jump down off of something 10 feet up I'll brag about how I jumped off a cliff.
