I have been listening more and more to the Democratic candidates and there seems to be some requirement to quote John F. Kennedy, especially the "ask not what your country can do for you..." one, which is hilarious with some of the policies they are laying out. This is why I think politics in general is complete bullshit. You get a bunch of scum sucking lawyers going around the country spewing as much bullshit as they possibly can in order to brainwash idiots. It's maddening to me. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

what? ive always loved bill. id vote for him in the election! a bill + hillary makes it even better. are you thinking that getting her husband going around for her is a good thing? yes it is. does it make people get "played"? no. i dont believe bill will be running everything but i think he can add a lot of good with his foundation work etc. its hillarys proposed policies i like i think you are paranoid about something. what that thing is im not sure Congratulations, you've successfully let Hillary manipulate you into voting for her because of her husband. |

how are you getting that from what i said? You said you liked what Bill said, so you'll now consider voting for Hillary. That's exactly why she sends her husband out talking to people. She wants people to think that a vote for her = a vote for Bill. You now think that. Her mission is accomplished. I didn't call it a conspiracy, but it's dumb IMHO to think that a vote for Hillary = a vote for Bill. |

Don't you get mad at people for that same argument?: A+B = somehow equals C (such as the privacy issue in the other thread) ... Because that is EXACTLY what you are doing here. You're assuming you know what Cathryn is thinking...that she's voting for Bill by proxy (or however you what to put it). Cathryn never said this, you did. -------------------- |

Uh, I didn't say A+B = C. She did.
She said: I liked what Bill had to say, so I will consider voting for Hillary. |

Yes, but that's a far shot from a vote for Hillary = a vote for Bill.

How the hell does a vote for Hillary not equate to a vote for Bill? you'd be a god damned fucking moron the likes of which the universe has never seen before to think that isn't the case. His name might not be on the ballot but do you seriouly think this isn't going to be another clinton co-presidency? -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

All you'd have to do to see how completely wrong you are, is take some sort of poll of how many will vote for Hillary for President vs how many would vote for Bill if he was running. |

"I liked what Bill had to say so I might vote for Hillary". How the hell is that a far shot from a Hillary vote = Bill vote? Maybe the added emphasis will help you see my point a little more clearly. -------------------- Holy shit, pebkac, you're awesome! It's the reasoning that's the point, not however she ends up voting. She stated that her reasoning for "maybe" voting for Hillary was because she liked what Bill had to say. I don't see how to read this any other way.

I don't see how to read this any other way. how does this sitution change from say, another candidate throwing his support to someone else? you're missing the point of the situation by trying to put too much emphasis on the bill & hillary part -------------------- |

i didnt say i may be voting for hillary because of what bill said. listening to bill made me aware of some of her stances, i read stuff online, went through her website and found it very helpful in making my decision unlike obamas
bill spoke ABOUT hillary and about what she plans to do. DUH like i said before if it was my butt saying what he was saying ABOUT HER i would still now be leaning towards hillary. i just needed to be made aware of what she was about. as i already said before i just didnt pay much attention to her stances and i dont believe it will be a co presidency between the two of them if shes elected i will break it down even further - if bill had said she wasnt for advocating social services in high schools and college, providing to pay student loans for students going into social services etc, wasnt for grants to help convert homes into green homes etc i probably wouldnt be voting for hillary. -------------------- Little monkeys making money

I don't see how to read this any other way. So what exactly DID Bill have to say? Was it "vote for Hillary, because I'm her husband" or was he just explaining her positions because it is impossible for her to go everywhere. This is the same reason why you have rallies without candidates present. You vote for the candidate and the positions, however (or whoever) gives you that information is irrelevant. -------------------- ![]() |
