for a weekend trip i would say central america, but ive done most of europe. I like the morroco suggestion....

i was just in prague, overcrowded, beginning to be overpriced, and honostly, there are a lot better places.

Ive never been to the 4 places you listed, but on those i would think you could do ireland or scotland in 2 days, portugal i think might take longer, as well as greece. If you go to greece, you probably would want to hit up istanbul and some of that area to the north (sketchy but good countries to visit)

or go to cuba....

I've thought about Gibraltar, as it's British and pretty neat.

And yes, Prague is seeing a resurgence (just like Moscow). People have realized that old world Germany really isn't that "old".

Hong Kong was actually the original plan, but a last minute cancellation of one my vacation days by my boss ruined that. I would have essentially had a night in Hong Kong and back on the plane the next day.

February 2nd is in the middle of Chinese New Year (plane tickets are rock bottom).

you need at least 3 nights in hong kong.

one night hong kong side, one kowloon side, and one off the beaten path outside proper.

I was lucky enough to spend about 20 days total there over the course of a 3 years. it was awesome.

lots of rad british chicks too.
