So I've decided to take a mini-vacation to Europe Feb. 1-3 and need an opinion.
My objective is to eat some good food and see a few sights. I am torn between Ireland, Scotland, Greece, and Portugal... So, cast a vote. P.S. - tickets to Europe on that weekend are ~$500 if anyone is interested -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

3 days? that's it? you're gonna spend the entire time on the plane. You forget, I like planes Plus, it's two full days at the destination. Overnight flight puts me there on the 2nd (early morning) and back here on the 3rd, leaving Europe in the late afternoon. I've looked at South and Latin America destinations, both are through the roof on prices (summer down there). -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

jet lag? Ambien my friend. Next time you go on an overnight flight and need to sleep, just tell your doc. Ambien does the trick. Plus, drink lots of water and you'll be fine. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

what??!?!?! just one month ago nicaragua was 99 bucks from ft lauderdale... Houston-Lima = $726 Houston-Panama City = $563 Houston-Nicaragua = $490 The only upside to Panama and Nicaragua is the potential of getting upgraded on the flight. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

Scotland. Go visit Roddy Pipper, he was my favorite wrestler back in the day. I might be going to Scotland later this year too. Supposedly there's a cool golf course there or some nonsense.
