this, is nothing to worry about
in 90% of the cases of probation, it is a matter of including additional information. the article practically says that. Give them time to manipulate some data (which all schools do for regional accreditation) and to ship the report over. we've still got national accreditation full status and individual departments usually have accreditation as well |

this happens more often than you think. its not because they are worried about our competency just one of those things where we have to send in a 6,000 page document to be evaluated and we missed out on one section or we missed a statisically significant standard.
not a reflection on the university in my opinion, knowing what i know about accreditation. |

its also the only step usually.
Accredited Reaffirming (we were in this process) Probation (now we are here) Suspension its being blown out of proportion. I will probably end up serving on a few accreditation committees before my career in student affairs is over |
