lol at billy
I think MANY people feel just like Will ( i know i do for the most part). Extremely well put and its funny to see the troll still troll by. I would say it added A LOT to the discussion for how someone can believe in creation and it not be a huge problem, society-wise. -------------------- |

Instead of even making an ounce of an attempt to get on topic you'd rather use provocation? Yeah, hypocrite. Good job. Enough with your villanizing bullshit. Good job. keep it up I was simply agreeing with will showing it wasn't just HIM that believed that way... Again, you ignore peoples posts (all the relevant material within) and put your fingers in ears and throwing out insults and trolling -------------------- |

huckabee on abortion: Huckabee says abortion shouldn't be decided by States
What exactly would give the federal gov. the right to regulate Abortions over states? Commerce clause? I can bear arguments that roe v wade was decided wrong (though most cases have flaws when decided, doesn't mean they all should be overturned... like non-enumerated rights for example). But can someone tell me what constitutional right, granted to congress, enumerates the right to control abortion? -------------------- |

Was I even talking to you? What the hell is the matter with you? You brought my name into this thread. QUOTE And before you give me advice on life, fix your own first. I'm doing pretty well. I've actually done an excellent job in fixing my life from what it was this summer. Thanks for your concern. QUOTE And though you spent some time writing your two posts, I do hope you realize they contribute absolutely nothing new to this thread. And your vitriolic bullshit throughout this thread was somehow beneficial? QUOTE No one cares what you dislike. No one cares what bothers you. No one gives a damn about you. How can such a pissant have such an ego? You want to know how you can contribute? Stop talking about how you feel, and start asking philisophical questions that are either pro or con what the original author brought up. I care about what I have to say. Apparently, so does Seth. And I'm sure more people will when they read the thread. Anything else? This is getting good. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

example of a religious zealot: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml...6/wmicro116.xml My friend sent me the headline\description, and I thought it was an onion article... Agreed. The guy sounds retarded. Look, the latest generation of Christians believe that we deserve the right to legislate whatever we want and that by using the government we can change people. I adamantly disagree. All we have to do is look at history and see that just getting people under a "Christian" nation will not last. Plus, it's not what God asks of us anyway. I don't remember reading anywhere "you will pass a law against the gays, sayeth the Lord". The more Christians live like Christians and stop worrying about what the government can do to legislate "morality", the better off we will all be. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

But can someone tell me what constitutional right, granted to congress, enumerates the right to control abortion? I was going to say that he's just pandering to his right wing base, but the way he's doing in the polls, I honestly think he believes this shit. I also found this quote amusing: QUOTE Huckabee also previewed his first television ad of the campaign on the program. The 60-second spot, which features actor Chuck Norris, was to begin running in Iowa on Monday. "My plan to secure the border. Two words: Chuck. Norris," says Huckabee, who stares into the camera before it cuts away to show Norris standing beside him. "Mike Huckabee is a lifelong hunter who'll protect our Second Amendment rights" on gun ownership, says the tough-guy actor, who takes turns addressing viewers. "There's no chin behind Chuck Norris' beard, only another fist," Huckabee says. Now Huckabee's just getting desperate. Agreed. The guy sounds retarded. Look, the latest generation of Christians believe that we deserve the right to legislate whatever we want and that by using the government we can change people. I adamantly disagree. Now Huckabee's just getting desperate. yeah, god forbid a candidate takes advantage of the celebrity status of somebody who is openly supporting their campaign to help make themselves more of a household name and show that they have a sense of humor. fuck him, fuck him and everyone that knows him. it's not like godzillary is using her douche-list celebrities (and her husband, which is ridiculously weak) and going up on stage at lefty concerts, and obama sure isn't specifically going for oprah and using her show to boost his name. that would just be desperate. |
