the bcs computer averages 1part computer score 2 parts voting score, so a bad voting score can bump them down(had kansas had a 3 rank in the polls they would prob be number 2). its all moot though, kansas still has to play missouri and a win there will push them to number 2 most likely... of course then the winner will have to play the big12 champ... fun lineup. yeah, i think whoever wins the big 12 title will be bumped up enough to at least the #2 spot, because they'll have beaten 2 of the other big 12 teams in the top 6. -------------------- ![]() |

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_ylt=Av...p&type=lgns I don't think we lost because of the refs but I think there were some definite missed calls and poor judgment. The call on his heel being out, that they continually showed on the jumbotron really looked like he was out of bounds. Every Longhorn around us figured that the call would be reversed and when it wasn't, they were pretty much astonished. On the play where McCoy got thrown into the end zone there were about 3 calls that could have been made there, I saw a linemen jump (as did everyone seated around me) and two missed holding calls. The dropped pass in the end zone was a dropped pass. The holding, in my opinion was weak, to say the least. There were two late hits, one where the pass was dropped in the end zone and one just a little earlier in the game, neither was called. It was just frustrating to watch and listen to Longhorn fans be just as appalled by the calls as I was. there was also that call against Duckett (i think). whenever McCoy was "thrown down" after the play was called dead, a few people who were at the game told me that was a bad call. McCoy kinda made it look worse than it was by throwing himself down a bit, when our guy pushed him just as the whistle was blowing or something. -------------------- ![]() |

i think also another call that was missed was when the lineman tossed mccoy foward. i don't think TTU got fucked, the toe heel thing i thought was going to be reversed.
if you go back & look at all the games in any football game, i'm sure there are alot of missed calls on both sides -------------------- |
