I usually use bittornado and it starts off around .5 or some shit like that but before long it revs up to very high speeds. Downloading Xbox games usually takes like 8 hours atleast, but I just leave it on when I sleep or go to work. Plus I don't know any other place to get them.

I average 25 to 200.

Stop sharing so much... honestly. If you are uploading a ton, then your broadband gets bogged down.

Also, find the torrents with a lot of seeds, not a lot of leechers.

i'll vary between 40kb/s and 3Mb/ps (<3 FIOS)

and having a lotta leechers doesn't hurt, in fact it'll speed you up if anything. Seeds > Peers, but Peers > nothing.

I downloaded last nights scrubs episode in 3 minutes.

New Battlestar Galacticas/LOSTs typically take 30-40 minutes at most.

edit: i'm about to crack total upload of 1TB this month. biggrin.gif I seed like a mothafucka just because i can.

another edit: bit torrent's down speed is completely independent of it's upspeed when it comes to seeding.

But your physical downspeed will be affected by your upload amount.

3 mbps is like 375 kb/s. unless you made a typo. because Mb is megabit, which is 1/8th of a MB/megabyte.

so if thats true, whats so special about FIOS? i've gone up to 400kb/s on just regular cable.

average download has nothing to do with upload.

Total Downloaded: 177.41 MB (0 B rubbish data dropped)
Total Uploaded: 3.66 MB
Average Download Rate: 165 KB/s within 00:18:15
Average Upload Rate: 0 KB/s within 08:14:02

that was a naruto download.

tell me how my up and down speeds relate.
