cricket is that new cell phone company that's shaking things up 50 bucks a month for unlimited talk/internet/messaging With extremely limited calling areas. Great plan for people who talk forever and never leave town. -------------------- |

yeah, google's android platform should give the cell industry a swift kick in the ass, especially the smartphone industry. I'd get an HTC over a treo, btw lance, the treo's kinda overstuffed compared to the PPC-6700/6800 ('the Mogul'). Plus wifi is nice.
-------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

no windows mobile? seriously? I love my WM. Some things could be better, but the extensibility and power is worth the tradeoff.

WM does have some pretty glaring flaws, but overall, it's a pretty good platform for a mobile phone. Especially if you like hacking your phone.

A 34 company committee couldn't get a ham sandwich done right, how do we expect them to get a phone right?

Looks like Android is circumventing the Java problems by using its own language. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
