yeah, i know there are guys out there looking for this kind of a woman, but dont' assume that i'm not ambitious enough just because i can't afford to pay your way of life too. i hope she enjoys her life as a server at red robin.

the ironic part is, those types of chicks' "way of life" is buying expensive shit. the ones that are responsible and make good money like Christine are the types that don't care to go out and buy expensive useless crap.

Hey now, I can be irresponsible too! I dropped $100+tip on sushi for me & boyfriend the other night. tongue.gif

Goddamn that was good food!

(That was my "Economic Stimulus Check" splurge. The rest went into savings.)

lol... well I wouldn't call a nice dinner once in a blue moon too terribly irresponsible... I was thinkin more along the lines of chicks (and yes I really know chicks that do this) that go out and spend $500 every weekend at the mall on nothing but clothes/shoes.

Yeah, I know. I was just being facetious. Probably my most "irresponsible" habit is occasionally spending $100 or so at Amazon or Barnes & Noble for books and such.

Malls scare me. crying.gif

I heard something on the radio that was pretty stupid about saving money on AC costs. "During those hot summer days, people are saving money on those AC costs by going to the mall or movie theater"

i went out with a woman on friday, first date and she actually says to me "well i'm in nursing school, but i'd prefer a man who has enough ambition to make enough money for both of us so I could stay home and work out."

I asked for separate checks and told her she's got a lot of work to do if she wants to be a trophy wife

pissed me the hell off.

Blue wins again!

down payments are pointless imho. especially the way the home market is right now. you're throwing money in the garbage with a down payment.

saving $10,000 in cash has nothing to do with buying a home or responsibility to make payments.
100% agree. I see nothing wrong with no down on a house. Now a down on a car is a different story.

You should have just bought a hooker

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Getting adjusted back to graveyard shifts is no easy task. But, whatever, I'm making what I used to make at my old job, so I'm happy.
