I just thought I'd start a new topic about this. I just got back from the hospital visiting AJ's mom who underwent a lumpectomy this morning. And my mom is also a breast cancer survivor.

My puppies are getting decked out in Komen gear tomorrow for some tailgating.

Most women don't check themselves nearly as much as they should. We're going to be passing out self examination pamphlets on campus this month

denver is huge on that. 9news has "buddy check 9 day," where women are supposed to call a friend to remind them to check for cancer on the 9th of ever month. the only reasons i remember this is because my mom received a call from a very, very, very, very distant relative who called her regarding this a couple of years ago, and the fact that denver has a ginormous race for the cure every year.
