QUOTE (Jim @ Mar 19 2006, 10:27 PM) Futurama was four seasons and was cancelled because of money issues... 5 Seasons and I don't think Nickelodeon has ever let go of one of their shows to another network. |

http://slashdot.org/articles/06/03/20/1354258.shtml http://billywest.com/forum/forum_posts.asp...20&KW=billywest QUOTE Guys,
I'm sorry I gave inaccurate info on the cartoon.I was told on one end that the TV show was a go but DXC enlightened me (with a hammer) that this was not the case.I think there is a Futurama project as in DVD's but I appearently had bad info. But I do live to give good Futurama news to people. So I must've died or something. Well poot. There should still be new seasons of Futurama if sales of the direct-to-DVD movies go well.

And now Lance's thing says he was wrong and it's scrapped?!?! I don't think it's been scrapped completely. What I'd heard before is that they were going to make 4 direct-to-DVD "movies" (short things, like 75 min long, I think) and might continue the regular series if sales of those were good. -------------------- |
