If you ever remove the blade from a lawnmower, DISCONNECT THE FUCKING SPARK PLUG CABLE FIRST
I was fiddling around with it trying to take off the blade because it's dull and it needs replacing. It was cross threaded and I didn't realize that so I was dicking around and spinning the blade while trying to unscrew it. Somehow, it caused the spark plug to fire and start up the mower. Luckily, the noise startled me and made me jump back a few feet. Missed getting my right hand sliced off by about one second. Jesus christ. --------------------   |

I thought all mowers had that safety bar, the one that you have to hold down while you're mowing? The one that turns the mower off when you let go?

That's what I thought too. Guess I'm never going to use a mower again.
