Just heard on Rush, some new scientific discovery that if you expose salt water to a certain radio frequency it will burn. as in, we could use saltwater as a fuel. crazy stuff i'll try to find a link.

Don't worry, I'm sure a conspiracy will pop up and this discovery will never see the light of day as a commercial fuel again. The environmentalists will want to thwart it because Flipper won't have as much of his natural habitat, and the oil companies will of course, buy it, and patent it, then continue to rape us all into the poorhouse...

3000 is pretty high for the engine. If exothermic, I see this as a good power plant source.

who are you again? not the japanophileyou've got no basis to complain about this possible new fuel source using up "all our water". this isn't oil, it's fucking water, and apparently it works, so maybe we should see what can be done with it before pulling the hippie card. |

ocean water is our most abundant resource. 2/3 of the world being covered in it to amazing depths - can it even really seriously be called "limited"?
certainly a nicer way to move energy towards UNTIL true renewable energy is fully efficient and economical and still not so heavily relied on fossil fuel production -------------------- Little monkeys making money
