i am still completely baffled as to how a dog can have money Technically im pretty sure they can't, but the will could have been set up to pay someone some amount of money in order to make sure the dog got 12 million worth of care. If not i'd take the money as the bank and cheer... since animals have no standing in court to sue...heh -------------------- |

I believe the precedent for cases like this is that the money will be in the care of a trust fund manager who will use it for the continued care of the dog. After the dog is dead, I presume any remaining money would go to her relatives.

Hah, check this shit out. Former housekeeper is going to sue the dog.
http://www.cnn.com/2007/LIVING/wayoflife/0...g.ap/index.html QUOTE The housekeeper, Zamfira Sfara, 48, had sued her employer in 2004 over one of those bites, but lost the case when a judge ruled Helmsley was protected from liability under the Workers Compensation Law.
Sfara's son, Remus Pop, told The New York Times this week that his mother was asking lawyers to look at going after Trouble's inheritance. "That is the next step," Pop told the Times. "That dog got money. That money is going to be taken away from that dog." -------------------- Beers that I have had, updated July 5th, 2009: 1,548
