In a ironic twist of fate, the first week of class at Texas State, several businesses set up booths on campus including Ikea. They had a drawing for a high dollar gift card so I registered. I got a call Wednesday, and they told me I won.... which is totally awesome because I can now re-buy the piece of artwork that Will once again is refusing to return because he found out that I'm now dating someone else.... OH how I love thee, fate.

I might as well give my side of the story. I don't really care what people think of me on here, especially since so far it's been completely one sided and I haven't really bothered defending myself, but I might as well now. See, me not giving her shit back isn't me being irresponsible, it's not me being a loser, or anything else. There are consequences for your actions, in all walks of life - relationships, at work, legally, etc. It all started last year when we were at Rocky's apartment. Cathryn was there. I got mad at Jessica for something, I don't even remember but it was probably me being drunk and stupid, and we technically broke up because I said something really stupid. She immediately left for San Antonio, which really pissed me off cause I knew this douchebag (who is now her boyfriend) lived there and I knew he liked her. I called her a lot that weekend because she was being shady and not answering. When she got back I asked her if she'd seen Audi. She flat out lied to me. Only after we broke up a year later did I realize the extent of the lie. Apparently, she kissed him. How someone can sit there and look someone in the eye who they want to spend the rest of their life with and blatantly lie to them is beyond me. I know I can't. The last year of our relationship neither one of us trusted the other. I don't know why she didn't trust me - I never once cheated on her or even put myself in a position to do so. She also at one point during an argument told me she fucked Audi when she went down there 8 months ago. She later retracted that comment when I told her she went down there 6 months ago, not 8 months ago. Quite amusing. Fast forward to May, when we broke up. There were consequences for my actions - me being a drunkass, me treating her like shit, etc - she broke up with me. She said she wanted me to change, which I tried. Guess it's kind of hard to make up for a year's worth of a bad relationship in one month though. This is one of the many reasons I now drink once in a blue moon - alcohol caused me to lose (what I thought at the time) was the most important thing in my life. During the month and a half of me trying to get her back, I found out just how dishonest she was. She always stayed at guy friends' houses after we broke up and I'd moved back in with my mom. Always used the excuse that she didn't want to stay at the apt, which was pretty valid because the A/C didn't work. She was always shady about who she was hanging out with, what she was doing, whether or not she was drunk, etc. At one point, she said she'd been dating someone the entire time. She later retracted that statement, then changed her story that she liked this guy and he liked her back, but nothing ever happened. A few days before she moved to Lubbock I went over there and asked to be back together. I figured a month was long enough for her to make up her mind. It was pretty obvious she was just stringing me along for her own personal amusement, especially after she said "This whole thing has been a joke to me. I've just been laughing while you've been crying trying to get me back." One of the most despicable things I've ever heard anyone say. It was actually good to hear that, as it was the nail in the coffin. Much easier to get over someone you hate, and up until that point I still loved her. She actually came up to Fowler's after I left and apologized. We agreed to talk for two weeks and if things went well, we'd get back together. During the two weeks when she was in Lubbock, she further lied to me and was dating someone else, all the while telling me she wasn't. I later learned after that, she'd been dating Audi for who knows how long and lying to me about that as well. At this point I have no idea what was truth and what was a lie, nor do I care at this point. I do know that the last year of our relationship was based on a lie though. Who knows if she cheated on me, how many times, what she was doing when she was telling me she wanted to be back together with me, at this point it doesn't matter. So yeah, Jessica, there are consequences for your actions. If you want to be a lying slut, you go right ahead. If you think it's funny to watch me desperately try to get you back, put myself through all that bullshit emotionally, all the while laughing about it, you go right ahead. If you want to lie to my face about not doing anything with anyone else, all the while fucking god knows who, you go right ahead. But when the time comes when you need something from me, you can go fuck yourself. You won't get your stuff back because you're a lying sack of shit. -------------------- |
