If you are from Houston, you probably know who Marvin Zindler is... If you don't, well go check out Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Zindler

He was an icon around here and I grew up watching him on channel 13. He will be deeply missed.

Wikipedia had the quote as:
"Sliiiime in the Ice Machine!"

Now I'm confused, is it SLIME (all caps) or Sliiiime...?

It's like a good version of Andy Rooney.

You know he had plastic surgery because the station didn't like his face and convinced him to have the procedure done? Thought that was interesting since it was so long ago...

Wow I can't believe this. I just cried a little. What a great man. He was taken too soon - I was supposed to die before him!

RIP man

was this like a long ass time ago when he was a regular anchor? bc he didnt look all fucked up then. you said it wasnt that long ago it was at least 12 years (i can remember him on the news when i was much younger).
to get that crazy would be 1 massive procedure or a near lifetime of routine surgery. a little reminiscent of michael jackson if you ask me

but yeah if true sad but dont let the man tell you to go under the knife to report on shitty restaurants!

In other news, I stepped on a bug yesterday. It died. I wept for its demise.
