I've never been anything but a Cowboys fan. Football is a business. Jerry Jones has chosen to make a business move to hire the biggest "villian" in football, particiularly to the Cowboys, so I choose not to help his business. You have no fucking idea how bitter this shit makes me.

i applaud you for standing up for your convictions. honestly, i'd like the cowboys a lot more if dipshit Jones didn't own the team.

I had been happy with the team steadily improving since Parcells' arrival and it seemed like Jones hadn't made a stupid decision in a while. I guess he was saving it up for one big one. I lived through the 1-15 season, the poor performances in the last half of the 90's until recently, missing the playoffs for like 9 years, but I will not stand for signing T.O.

Nope, I've already declared this weekend that if the Cowboys win the Super Bowl I will still recognize them as the 5 time Super Bowl Champions. I'm not doing this because I'm a fair weather fan or some bullshit like that. I'm packing away the Cowboys stuff in my house for now to protest what I the consumer do not agree with a business doing. Just like if I went to a restaurant all my life and it was my favorite place to eat and then they started making the hamburgers out of dog, I'm not gonna eat there again until they switch back to beef.

I've gotta find a new team to root for just to occupy my mind and get it off of TO during football season. It's not like I'm gonna go out and deck myself up in Steelers garb and be a bandwagon jumper like Will is. laugh.gif I don't plan on buying any other NFL team merchandise, but I'm not spending a dime on Jerry Jones' Cowboys as long as TO is there. And I sure as hell am not planning on buying tickets to the Dallas/Philly game like I had planned.

God you sure are bitching and moaning a lot for something thats not really that big of a deal. Jerry brought in a unruley player who has a lot of talent , nothing to be surprised about. Honestly, if TO will produce im happy with the deal. Its not a long contract so he hopefully wont bitch before his contract is up. Plus the sheer thought of Dallas going to philly NOW is awesome... just adds to the rivalry.

Irvin was a dumbass and a coke head. He respected the team, and he respected the fans. Frankly, if TO helps the cowboys win, then I really don't give a shit. I just think the Cowboys need somebody who isn't a geriatric to play quarterback.

I'm the opposite, I'd rather have an okay season and gradually improve than sign a shithead. I don't care what any of you say about me being a bandwagon jumper or whatever you're trying to say. I've been a Cowboys fan through plenty of shit, even when everybody in Texas jumped ship to the awesome new expansion Texans. But I refuse to support them if they make such a stupid decision. It's funny to see how many more "fans" come out of the woodwork when the 'boys sign a guy that could possibly make them a contender.

Will might appreciate this, me and my brother were talking about TO last night and I was saying how I can't believe some cowboys fans are excited about getting a cancer on the team and my brother said "I know how they feel, that was me 2 years ago! Fuck TO!" He was stoked when the Eagles got TO but look what that turned in to. I'm gonna resurrect this thread the day that the grumbles in the locker room start, or TO goes to the media about Drew Bledsoe.

And has anybody heard his shitty rap song on www.terrellowens.com? What a fag.
