QUOTE A Lubbock judge charged a man today in connection to the stabbing death of a retired Air Force colonel in Southwest Lubbock on Monday. Alonzo Lewis, 25, was arraigned on charges of capital murder at the Lubbock County Courthouse Tuesday afternoon. He is being held in Lubbock County Jail on a $1 million bond. Lewis, who was arrested Monday evening, is accused of killing Donald J. McCullough inside McCullough’s garage at 8017 Vinton Ave. Police say Lewis killed McCullough after robbing him in his garage. http://www.lubbockonline.com/updates/update1b.shtml Not much info there, but evening news was reporting that McCullough just offered the dude a bottle of water because it was so hot outside, then the guy left and came back and stabbed him. It was reported that he clocked in to work at Rosa's on 82nd less than 10 mins after the murder. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

my company won't touch this bond, but we reviewed it. the guy has 2 previous bond-surrenders, meaning he didn't pay his payments and forced the company to bail on him. and 1 bond forfeiture, meaning he didn't bother to show up to court, and the courts canceled his bond and put him back in jail. he also has had interaction with several institutions concerning his bi-polarism.

Surprised the court even granted him bond given those circumstances. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

a friend of mine in lubbock says the news said it was a katrina refugee. This is also true and I meant to add it in to my commentary, but forgot and didn't remember until I was driving home from class this afternoon. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

That fucking sucks. I still remember that one murder of the Tech student. The one where he was forced at gunpoint to withdraw money from an ATM, and after he got his $300, shot the student like 6 times and ran.
