I will give it credit on Vista Media Center. That thing kicks ass and if I build a dedicated Media Center box I will definitely use Vista. Other than that I'm done w/it.

I think working with unix may get you addicted. I use some old version that sucks and i don't spend much time on computers at home though.

Currently, my only complaint with Vista involves movie editing with Windows Movie Maker (crashes a lot when other programs are installed) and it won't play Netflix videos through the live streaming feature (the plug-in fails and IE crashes). I'm sure they're related.

yeah the ui stuff (the exact same thing: no up button) drives me CRAZY. It's just fucking slower and less convienient. I have it on my new laptop and haven't gotten around to reformatting it yet, I need to get on that pronto.

Come to think of it, need to do the same to the server.
