I've had this thing since 2002, D-Link put an EOL notice on it in 2004, and I think it finally died on me. Not able to get any wireless signal to my laptop, but I'm able to pick up neighboring networks. Anyone know of a way of testing if it's broadcasting? Like can I wrap a bunch of wire around the antenna and hook it up to a multimeter and get some kind of response? Doesn't have to be tested through the computer. I'd like to be sure it really doesn't work before I go and buy a new wireless router.
Open to suggestions on possible configurations on the router, too. So far I've tried changing SSID, channel, encryption key, and whether the SSID is broadcast or not. Gonna try turning encryption off now. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?
