Read the whole article, it'll make you cringe. Summary: Parents of troubled teens sign over their custody rights to a company called Tranquility Bay which kidnaps the teens from their bed in the middle of the night, flies them overseas (without a passport or visa), and locks them up in a prison in Jamaica. At the prison they're subjected to constant observation, beatings, brain washing videos, observation placement where they force you to lay on the ground for hours, crappy food, and group classes where you have to tell all your personal secrets to the rest of the class. The more compliant you are the more points you get. As you accumulate points you progress through the levels and are eventually released. Some teens are there as little as 6 months and some are there for more than 3 years. One girl got sent there just for dating someone her parents didn't like: QUOTE "Lindsay Cohen is nearly 19. A straight-A high-school graduate, she was heading for Harvard until an unsuitable choice of boyfriend had her sent here at the age of 17."
