For me, the power is in the fact that the tools I use are on a Mac and my workflow is smoother with it. I use a Dell from time to time and it works fine, but on an airplane, it's clunky and not what I want to work on. That's personal opinion. YMMV (your mileage may vary)

none of the newtworks I use support Macs. I didn't know this prior to getting it, the thought literally never crossed my mind...so when I brought it in to get configured for the network they said "sorry you're SOL".

I started despising it at that moment.
