Ben came back?!?! I don't think I ever remember seeing him since at least the Great Board Wipeout of Whenever the Hell That Was He was back for like... three days? He basically said "haha, guess who I am" in half a dozen threads, everyone responded with "hi, Ben" (because it was obvious who he was), then he got all pissy that people guessed who he was so quickly and he disappeared again. -------------------- |

As for the whole "I have Mac" or "Mac Sucks" argument, I think most of that is simple unfamiliarity. I know for years I would sit down at a Mac, quickly become frustrated by all the simple difference like menus and button locations. You get so used to the Windows environment that its all intuition and suddenly its all different. So you quickly declare your disdain for this and move on. But then by odd happenstance I ended up getting a Mac and actually having a chance to sit down and learn all the little quirks and I have to admit I've grown quite fond of it. Granted, I rarely use any computer for more than web browsing and occasional Word/Excel/Powerpoint homework, so even being an older G4 with Jaguar works fine for me.

I don't think Macs suck, they are a good machine and they superior visual software. I however prefer using a windows based system.

I would never waste money on a mac... too expensive and overrated if you ask me (unless you are hardcore into graphic design or something)

macs, and the people who think they are good, are all homosexual compulsive masturbators who compulsivley masturbate too much and then when they aren't compulsivley masturbating they're actually rubbing their private parts up against their macintosh because they suck as far as being an actual computer goes.
If you actually want to DO SOMETHING with a computer besides rub yourself against it because of how gay it is, you don't run a mac -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

what is aperature? Photo manipulation and cataloging software. Pretty cool stuff, uses a databases and does not do destructive editing (just keeps track of what you want changed). -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

geez... is that with or without the monitor? It is just the initial power on - without monitor. I think under load the PC was goin around 3.4 amps. -------------------- QUOTE (Lance) now we have some dude from argentina wondering how to fuck dogmeat |

No, Photoshop is much more robust. Aperture is meant to be for photographers to keep their photos in a database and have multiple versions of the same photo without holding multiple copies of it on the harddrive. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

I have an $1800 Macbook and hate my life because of it.
Macs suck dogdick. I guess if I did some kind of art shit on it I might like it, but it is not supported on various corporate/govt networks that I could have utilized over the past year I've had it...and is basically an expensive web browser. worst purchase I have ever...ever made. but it's white and gives you cool points at starbucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
