No offense but you always are at the center of it whether you start it or not. I'm always the center of it because I'm the only person on here who doesn't jack off to open source and apple stuff. You guys call me a jerk based on what I respond with because I don't go "ooooh wow omg that's so amazing" every time you post some apple/linux shit. All I did here was say that business wise it didn't make it look like apple has much confidence in their OS anymore (just like they lost confidence in their hardware they were so proud of). |

My only problem is you inferring that information (the non-confidence) from a browser release... To give you an example of what that sounds like is Microsoft Office for OS X or an open format because they don't think their OS is that great... If Apple was really worried about their OS, they'd probably start releasing all of their software for Windows. In the end, it's just a browser and I think they are more worried about Firefox and Camino taking over their market share in the browser arena and they want to keep that by compensating and touting their OS at the same time. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

I used it for a bit, it seems pretty bloated. Seemed a little slow.

is it me or does the font seem really fat?
doesn't seem slow or anything to me, just different. my only noteables are just that thing where you can only resize the window from the lower right, and I don't like how the form buttons appear, and don't push in or move at all when you click them. |

Supposedly the release of Safari on Windows is related somehow to the iPhone. More than likely they'll attempt some kind of iPhone/Safari lock-in.
What really sucks about the iPhone is Apple is not releasing an SDK for it. I hope the iPhone dies a horrible death. |

There will be an SDK for the iPhone but it will basically be for Web 2.0 apps. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
