seriously. i think our only job is to fix nsfw pics. why are we splitting threads and what not. the ONLY exception to this is in Buy Sell Trade. We need to stop splitting stuff in sports and off topic. its pissing people off.

I disagree. I think fixing NSFW pics may be our main job, but it's not our only one. Spamminess is expected in off topic, so my thread merges may have been inappropriate, but it seemed to be in line with what people wanted (this is just regarding Brandon's YTMND threads).
I split stuff from Chuck's Knight School thread because the fight between Will and Chuck was cluttering up legitimate discussion. I don't see why people would be pissed about that. It's not like I deleted the split stuff. Lance even said to begin with: QUOTE Make sure topics in forums other than off-topic stay on topic, i.e. no useless meaningless threads in those forums, we all the know the topics themselves in the forum will eventualy get off topic. meaningless THREADS, not posts. that thread wasnt meaningless and as Lance said, it will eventually become off topic. Its not easy to stay on one topic. topics progress. I just see it as we should let topics take their course. if someone starts an lrar thread in entertainment, yes we should move it. I like a more hands off approach to the boards. I think others will agree.

I mean, if they talk about marmots for 15 pages, then something should be done. But that's only if the marmots don't in some way involve sports.
