in general, when I'm curious about what a web site/product is, I click the link that says "About". wasn't really all that difficult.

i did click "about", it just gave me a bunch of marketing terms that didn't help me understand what the product is or what it does

weird... when I click about it says:
QUOTE Microsoft Surface represents a fundamental change in the way we interact with digital content. With Surface, we can actually grab data with our hands, and move information between objects with natural gestures and touch. Surface features a 30-inch tabletop display whose unique abilities allow for several people to work independently or simultaneously. All without using a mouse or keyboard. the three videos show a lot of possibilities too. |

So it's a reproduction of the multi-touch displays we've seen for a long time but now microsoft is trying to sell it?

i don't know where you can find a pic of their table, but it's basically a larger version of the technology in their touch-screen iPhone
