I don't know if anyone else has been keeping up with the hit and run that happened last sat night/early sunday morning. I remember reading about it (link) and what really caught me as odd was the explicit mention of a car full of hispanics being listd as suspects. Now, call me crazy, but if someone was driving a car down university avenue in the middle of the night, and I happened to witness them hit someone, I'm not so sure I could pin down the race of the drivers, considering the lack of light and speed of your average drive down University.

The same description of the passengers was repeated with each repeat of this story (19th, 20th ), but when the car was found and the suspects cleared, now its become just a car with four passengers, with no mention of race (link). Maybe it's just me, but does this strike anyone else as odd?

Have you not watched any of their other reports?

The Lubbock news reports have to be the lowest quality of any I have witnessed...and I have lived in smaller places that were more accurate.
