I filed an intent to graduate but she keeps telling me I need to register just to walk. I've never heard of that. I also have not ordered a gown.

I forget where you have to go to let 'em know you're walking (dean's office for your college, I think), but the regalia is all done at the bookstore. Go in and see what they have available... I seem to recall that ordering gowns is important only if you're particularly tall or short. I just walked in and got my crap, no ordering involved.

I filed mine I think in the fall some time. I guess I'll go over to the Engineering Dean's office and ask them what's up.

Tonette is pretty great too, imho, but she doesn't have anything to do with this stuff.

Yeah, still haven't done this either.

What do I do if I just want to pick up/have them mail me my diploma so I don't have to walk?

Fuck. Me too.

Damnit.

Honestly, I don't particularly want to walk - just a waste of time - but I have a shit-ton of people coming up here so I'm just doing it for the free food.

after you walk, you can pick it up in your college. for me, (arts and sciences) after walking, everyone went straight to Holden Hall and all the diplomas were there waiting for you to pick them up.

if you dont pick it up, i think they automatically mail it to your "DIPLOMA" address that's filled out on techsis.
