I've been re-reading the His Dark Materials trilogy, which The Golden Compass is the first book of. I'm stoked about the movie and hope it's as good as it looks like it'll be (as opposed to being a horrid disappointment like the Eragon flick).

4. i have made 4 posts about transformers since july 4th when it came out. there were also a couple of posts in response to someone else's response. none of these were in a row mr. melodrama. i wouldn't call this obsessive. i would, however, categorize your incessant following up of me as obsessive though. you're not getting under my skin, you're setting yourself up on the tee for me.

I don't know if anyone is a fan of the Hitman game series, but it's my #1...um out of... like, the whopping 4 games I play

anyway, the Hitman movie is coming out in october and doesn't look like complete crap:

never played the game but the movie looks sweet. i wouldn't have thought that guy would be a good serious role as he's played some pretty stupid roles (his gone in 60 seconds detective guy was an idiot), but from the trailer looks sweet.

my coworker said something similar, but it's not really anything like bourne...

if the movie is like the game, Mr. 47 is a genetically created clone who's not really a martial arts type, but more of a smooth operator who blends in to his environment and achieves set objectives more with wit than throwing fools off buildings. He works for an agency who provides him with missions and support like real-time satellite maps. He generally makes hits look like accidents, though there is an element of shit-n-git where he just has to blast his way if he gets compromised. It's also a bit darker in tone and he's not real emotionally charged like bourne. He's aloof.

That dude doesn't really fit in at all with who I would have seen them cast as 47. He just doesn't have that intimidating swagger that I imagine.
